Description
This tremendous Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie Distillery has been matured for 10 years and is the fourth batch in the distillery’s cask strength range. Crafted from a combination of Pedro Ximenez , Oloroso and Virgin Oak casks, Batch 4 has been bottled at natural cask strength of 56.1% abv, free from artificial colouring and chill filtration. A limited edition, only 2,600 cases have been produced worldwide.
The nose has cinnamon with hints of ginger, with chocolate coming through. The palate erupts with dried fruits and raisins, before finishing with more chocolate and a touch of oak.
