Description
Released for their 18th batch of spectacular single cask bottlings, this 26-year-old single malt from GlenDronach has been matured in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon, personally selected by Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie, from 1994 to 2020. Just 692 bottles have been produced, each at 52.8% abv and without chill filtration or added colouring.
The nose is nutty and aromatic with earthy bramble, ginger, leather and tobacco. Rich dark fruits develop on the palate, alongside mellow spices that unfold with almond and walnut oil. The finish has lingering notes of mandarin and waxed yellow plum.
