Description
Distilled slowly to maintain the fresh and delicate aromas, this is an intense, fragrant gin. Hailing from Hampshire, this, the signature expression from Twisted Nose, is combined with nine carefully selected botanicals. The line-up includes juniper, grapefruit zest, cassia bark, fennel seed, orris, angelica, lavender, and locally grown watercress. It is made in small batches in traditional copper stills.
Expect a good deal of herbal notes on the nose, alongside a certain spiciness. The palate is one of crisp, dry grapefruit with peppery notes, and a good deal of fennel. The finish is surprisingly long, with a burst of citrus and full of peppery spice.
