We are very proud to announce this Dalmunach single malt is only available for members of The W Club. Dalmunach is one of Scotland’s newest and most exciting distilleries, built on the site of the Imperial Distillery which had roots tracing back to 1897. This Speyside malt was laid to rest for five years in oak casks in 2016 and has yielded a tiny run of just 84 bottles. Bottled in 2021, it was given a six-month long flourish in an octave cask, a maturation which has given it a real depth in character. At 55.6% abv, this cask strength dram will be well sought-after by those eager to try the whisky from the new ‘super distillery’ in Moray, Scotland.
Aromas of pears, apples, and sweet honey arrive on the nose. This sweet fruitiness develops on the palate, with hints of red berries, grapefruit, and mint all present. The finish is long and sweet, with a hint of ginger spice.
