Description
This fabulous single malt from an Iconic Speyside distillery is an exclusive bottling for The Whisky Club. This expression was laid to rest for eleven years in oak casks in 2010. Bottled in 2022, it was given a seven-month long finish in an octave cask. At 54.4% abv, there are just 95 bottles of this outstanding cask strength malt available.
On the nose, there are aromas of dark chocolate, oak fruitiness, cloves, and fresh coffee. The palate is exotic, rich, and sweet – prepare for bursts of sherry and sparks of sweet cinnamon. The finish is long and unadulterated with more sweet sherry notes and a touch of oak spice.
