Description
The Kurayoshi Single Malt is a bright Japanese whisky, crafted from carefully selected malt whiskies matured for over three years in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, it was brought to bottling strength using pristine spring water drawn from Mount Daisen. This single malt is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, allowing its true character to shine through.
The nose opens with ripe apricots, fresh citrus and a gentle sweetness, giving an early hint of the whisky’s lively character. On the palate, the fruitiness unfolds fully, delivering juicy apricot and zesty citrus alongside the soft warmth of oak and a light touch of honey, creating a balanced and engaging dram with real charm. The finish is smooth and clean, allowing the natural sweetness and subtle oak tones to linger.
