Description
After being bottled in 2017, the triumph of Talisker 30 Year Old has been re-released in limited quantities. The decadent whisky was matured for an impressive three decades in American oak casks, before being bottled at natural cask strength of 49.6% abv. The Isle of Skye classic soars here, with the lengthy maturation bringing their signature peat, spice and coastal notes together in harmony.
Expect aromas of orchard fruits, seaweed, charred wood and fudge, leading to a palate full of smoke. Flavours of creamy oak, almond, stone fruits and sea salt emerge, with a long and warming finish of white pepper and a hint of chilli.
