Description
This exceptional Mortlach single malt whisky has been matured for 17 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, offering a rich and complex character. Bottled by Signatory, an independent Scotch whisky bottler, it comes at a natural cask strength of 56.8% ABV. Part of the ‘Symington’s Choice’ series, only 655 bottles were filled from cask #201, ensuring its rarity and exclusivity.
Expect a nose of raisin and date aromas, supported by subtle leather and polished oak. The palate reveals fig jam, molasses, and dark chocolate with warming spice, while the finish is long and indulgent, leaving lingering sherry sweetness.
