Unexpected flavours balance each other in this unexpected peated single malt from Goa’s Paul John distillery. Winner of Best Indian Single Malt at World Whiskies Awards 2017, among many other awards, this single malt is bottled at 55.5% abv.The nose is smoky and sweet with mellow spices. The palate has layers of crisp Muscovado and Demerara sugar, before the smokiness sets in for balance with a hint of spice and cocoa. The finish has delicate cocoa and tart marmalade notes.
