Description
An exclusive The Octave expression, specially bottled for The Whisky Shop, this premium whisky was distilled at Laphroaig distillery on Islay. Aged by Duncan Taylor for 11 years in oak casks, with a three month finish in a reconstructed ex-sherrywood octave casks. There are only 86 bottles in existance, decanted at 55.6% abv.
Expect fresh aromas of sweet peat, bonfire embers, lime and salt and pepper. On the palate we find flavours of citrus, sherry, cinnamon and plenty of smoke on the palate and throughout.
