Description
Number 868 is a specially crafted blended Scotch whisky, created in honour of Doddie Weir OBE—the 868th player to be capped for Scotland’s national rugby team. Developed by Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky, this limited release supports the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, with proceeds contributing to the fight against motor neurone disease (MND).
At 40% abv, this whisky showcases a ripe barley colour and a vibrant nose of strawberry, pineapple, lemongrass, and sweet pastry notes. On the palate, rich raisin fudge and cinnamon raisin bran blend seamlessly with overripe fruits and heather honey. The finish is clean, balanced, and crisp, delivering a satisfying close to a meaningful dram.
