Description
Distilled at Mortlach Distillery, this Speyside Region whisky from ‘the Beast of Dufftown’ is a part of Hunter Laing & Co’s Platinum Old & Rare selection. The impressive expression was aged for 33 years in a single refill butt, and is one of only 311 bottles. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.9% abv, and free from chill filtration.
Expect aromas of milk chocolate, heather and gentle whisp of smoke, leading to a rich palate full of coffee, liquorice and dried fruits. The finish is long, with lingering pepper and spice.
