Description
This stunning Speyside single malt is a limited edition of just 200 bottles, each one aged for half a century in hand-crafted European oak sherry-seasoned casks from Jerez, Spain. Released in 2018, each bottle is individually hand-numbered and presented in a solid oak case at a strength of 44% abv.
The nose is spicy with vanilla, rich blackcurrants and a suble peat. The palate brings vanilla oak, fudge and toffee with black pepper and orange peel. The finish is long and satisfying with lingering notes of sweet figs.
