Description
A fantastic single malt. This Speyside went into a single first-fill sherry butt for maturation at the Linkwood distillery in 1991 and was bottled in December 2021 for Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice series. This 30-year-old expression comes at a cask strength of 53.1% abv with just 549 bottles produced.
On the nose, there are aromas of lemon zest, sherry, and ripe blueberries. The palate wonderfully balances baking spices with citrus and stewed raisins before leading into the fruity and herbal finish.
