Description
Ladyburn was the shortest-lived distillery in Scotland and is therefore one of the rarest malt whiskies in the world.Built by William Grant & Sons on the same site as their Girvan grain distillery, Ladyburn produced malt whisky for less than ten years from 1966 to 1975 and was then demolished.This is one of the last remaining casks of Ladyburn. Filled in 1974 and aged in the warehouses at Girvan until its 40th birthday on 21st November 2014.Cask 89/199 No.74 has produced only 157 bottles.
