Description
Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 by Colonel James Moir. Located on the Banffshire Coast, one mile west of the fishing village of Portsoy, Glenglassaugh is a true coastal distillery, and looks out over the white sandy beach of Sandend Bay. The distillery is just outside the Speyside region in the North East of Scotland making it a Highland distillery. The Glenglassaugh 40 year old was matured in American Oak barrels and European Oak hogsheads, balanced with Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry casks. This syrupy and complex expression is non chill filtered and of natural colour.
