Description
Distilled at Dalmore distillery in 2008, this single malt Scotch whisky has been bottled as part of The First Editions series of single cask expressions from family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. Matured in a refill hogshead for 11 years, this expression has been bottled at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Just 367 bottles have been filled, each one individually numbered.
The nose has chocolate, tea leaves and zesty orange. The palate brings sweet notes of dried fruits and furniture polish, with herbal aspects which linger into the long and waxy finish.
