Description
A celebratory release to mark the bicentenary of Edradour, Enigma No. 2 #368 is a 35 year old Highland single malt distilled in 1989 – a true piece of whisky history, with only 379 bottles released.
The liquid spent the intervening years between its distillation on 10/10/1989 to its bottling on 02/07/2025, maturing in a 1st fill Oloroso sherry butt, showcasing the richness and depth achieved through long sherry maturation.
Bottled at 62.3% ABV, this release is non-chillfiltered and natural in colour, you can expect a nose of all things dark and rich from espresso, treacle, and dark fruits, followed by a palate of cooking spices, citrus, and sherried fruit. The finish is delightfully bitter to undercut the sweetness, with dark chocolate, oakiness, and more spice.
With this celebratory bottling, you’ll also receive 2 beautiful crystal glasses, all housed within a stunningly crafted wooden presentation box.
