Distilled in 2013 and matured for twelve years in a heavily charred STR (Shaved, Toasted, Recharred) wine barrique, this limited-edition bottling has been drawn at a punchy 56.9% ABV, with only 174 bottles available.
The nose opens with a buttery biscuit base, waxy sweetness and notes reminiscent of pastry flakes and freshly brewed coffee, creating an indulgent and inviting first impression. The palate follows with real presence, delivering thick, chewy brown sugar, rye bread coated in dark honey and caramel-glazed almonds, offering both texture and depth in equal measure. The finish is long, warming and gently smoky.
