Description
The third and oldest of the latest spate of releases from The Cairn Distillery’s CRN57° core range, the 30 Year Old is a superb blended malt that offers a bold and expressive house style.
Bottled at 43% ABV, the nose is rich with aromas of fruitcake studded with candied peel and cinnamon, followed by indulgent toffee and soft, sticky Medjool dates. The palate is full-bodied and layered, delivering warming spice and cracked pepper alongside sultanas, dark forest fruits and polished oak, with subtle floral notes adding lift and balance. The finish is long, full and satisfyingly sweet, lingering with notes of liquorice and gentle spice that fade slowly.
