Description
Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as a part of their Connoisseurs Choice series, this stunning expression hails from Glenrothes distillery in Speyside. The single malt whisky was matured for 14 years in a single first-fill sherry hogshead cask, before being decanted at a bold cask strength of 53.4% abv. A yield of just 272 bottles.
Green apple aromas combine with lemon zest and clover honey. Sweet butterscotch flavours give way to orange peel and spicy white pepper, before a medium-bodied finish of coconut and mature oak.
