The malt whisky produced at Cardhu has a warmth and cleanliness of taste – often described as silky. Cardhu is presented in an elegant decanter with a beechwood stopper and is pretty typical of a Speyside malt. The 18 year old is a quietly assured extra-mature whisky that opens slowly with real finesse to reveal an exquisite structure appealing to the connoisseur: Rich in body, yet still full of delicate Cardhu character.
