Description
Black Bull is a blended Scotch whisky that is aged for a minimum of 12 years in ex-sherry and bourbon casks with a higher percentage of malted barley in the mash bill than other blends on the market. It is also bottled at a high strength of 50% abv allowing for a more natural tasting experience.
The nose opens with chocolate, toffee, citrus and vanilla. There are treacle notes on the palate alongside fresh pear, green apples and more sweet vanilla chocolate, ending with a fruit-forward finish.
