Description
A twelve-year-old Caol Ila that has been bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd as part of their Summer 2022 Releases. The liquid was drawn from a hogshead that was laid to rest in 2010 for over a decade, before being bottled in 2022 at 46% abv. Highly limited, just 1,128 bottles of this single malt have been produced.
Powerful aromas of peat, wood polish, and white sugar rise to meet the nose. This sweetness is present in the palate which also showcases flavours of florals and peat. The finish has a strong maritime influence with more smoke and distinct hints of sea salt.
