Description
This is a unique Auchentoshan Lowland Single Malt Whisky. Having moved from American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry – and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, the Auchentoshan Three Wood is a rich and complex non-age statement whisky. Auchentoshan is the only Triple Distilled Single Malt in Scotland, and the new spirit is well renowned as the smoothest, most delicate tasting single malt scotch whisky.
Sweet and fruit on the nose, with hints of the sherry cask coming through. The liquid is rich, with dark chocolate and yet more notes of sherried fruits. A thick and edgy finish, toffee and woody tones – very balanced.
