Ardnamurchan Distillery, situated on Scotland’s remote west coast, continues to impress with innovative expressions that balance tradition and creativity. ‘The Midgie’ 2025 release is a bold follow-up to its popular predecessor, crafted from a distinctive blend of peated (25%) and unpeated (75%) spirit matured in a variety of casks, including ex-Bourbon barrels, port barriques, and a touch of sherry casks. Unchill filtered and bottled at 48% ABV with natural colour, this limited edition features bespoke label artwork by Arne Wern.
You can expect a tropical and honeyed profile with notes of mango, figs, gingerbread, and cedar, culminating in a long, spiced finish.
