Description
From Glasgow Distillery Co, this limited edition release is a marriage of three unpeated casks with two peated casks. An initial maturation in first-fill bourbon casks was completed, before a lengthy second maturation in French Cognac casks for three years and four months. Bottled in 2024, at 58% abv. One of only 2250 bottles.
On the nose experience notes of red apples and poached pear with soft vanilla ice cream, a dash of runny honey, and a hint of floral sweet smoke. The palate is creamy and smooth with notes of toffee apple, poached pear, leading to rich salted caramel and baked apple crumble. An elegant and delicate finish, with notes of melon, lemon, and a welcome wisp of sweet smoke.
