Description
The second in Lochlea’s annual releases of Cask Strength bottlings, this limited-edition whisky has been bottled straight from the cask at 60% abv. Matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry, STR and PX casks, specially chosen from their warehouse in Ayrshire by Production Director John Campbell, Batch 2 showcases something entirely new from the Lowland distillery.
Opening with aromas of apples, peaches and marmalade, the whisky shines with floral flavours of wild lavender and rose petals before a finish of black pepper and more fruits.
