Description
Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as a part of their Connoisseurs Choice series, this rich and indulgent expression hails from Strathisla distillery in Speyside. The single malt whisky was matured for 15 years in a single first-fill sherry hogshead cask, before being decanted at a bold cask strength of 55.6% abv. One of only 331 bottles.
Rich fruitcake aromas combine with toffee apples and orange oil. Toasted hazelnut flavours complement stewed plums and blackcurrant on the palate, which lead to a wonderful finish with lingering festive spices and citrus.
