We present this Ardgowan Distillery Company’s Expedition, a limited-edition 20-year-old blended malt whisky. Each bottle is individually numbered and features whisky that has journeyed to the South Pole and back, carried by explorers Robert Swan OBE and his son Barney during their South Pole Energy Challenge. Carefully selected by Ardgowan Chairman Willie Phillips, this premium blend includes exceptional single casks from the Highlands and upper Speyside. With an ABV of 46%, this whisky offers a complex nose of sugared almonds, pink grapefruit juice, and freshly baked meringues, followed by a palate of milk chocolate, grapefruit, and maraschino cherries. The finish is smooth, creamy, and nutty, with a satisfying, juicy aftertaste.
