Description
Produced by Scotland’s southernmost distillery, this 30 year old dram from Bladnoch presents is its oldest ever release since coming under the ownership of David Prior in 2015. A Lowland single malt, it has been matured in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and Moscatel casks, and is bottled at 45.5% abv without chill filtration.
The nose offers dried apricots, floral notes, nutmeg, and Seville oranges, whilst the palate delivers almonds and marzipan alongside further citrus character. The finish is light, floral, and fruity with a crack of black pepper.
