Description
Produced during the colder months of 2012, this Winter Batch from cult classic Daftmill, is a limited release of bottlings highlighting their single estate tradition, and rich, textural style. Twelve casks were selected in total, five first-fill sherry hogsheads, and seven first fill bourbon barrels, culminating in under 3,300 total bottlings released.
Bottled at 46% abv, the final result brings notes of barley sugar, buttery shortbread, vanilla and orchard fruits, as well as a mouth-coating balance of sweetness and spice.
