Description
From That Boutique-y Brandy Company, comes this Australian Brandy made at the much-praised Sullivans Cove distillery in Tasmania. Made from a combination of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, and matured for nine years in a single American oak, ex-Tawny cask. On the label, distillery manager Heather Tillot stands proudly in front of rows of grape vines at the foot of Mount Wellington. Bottled at 66.5% abv.
Expect aromas of aged brandy, spicy oak, baking spices, maple syrup and dried fruit, leading to a palate full of sweet oak, sharp spices, dark chocolate and a light wood smoke char. The finish is deep, and long lasting.
