Description
Bottled as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Return to Oz collection showcasing the best of Australian whisky, this Corowa bottling has been matured for four years in a Tawny port cask. Corowa distillery was founded in 2010, and is situated within the Rutherglen wine region in the south of the country, where they source many of their barrels. Decanted at 48.5% abv, and one of only 592 bottled.
Expect aromas of granary bread, dark chocolate, woody spices and sticky marmalade, leading to rich flavours of candied orange peel and more dark chocolate, intertwined with sour cherry and oak spice.
