Benromach 1977

This single cask expression from Benromach distillery in Speyside was distilled in 1977 and matured for almost forty years in a single refill American hogshead, cask number 1268. Bottled at a strength of 56% abv, this limited edition is presented in a beautiful wooden display case, with copper highlights.The nose is vibrant with honey and orange zest, butterscotch and toasted oak. The palate brings sweet banana and passion fruit with a touch of pepper and tobacco, before a toasted oak and tobacco note in the finish.
