Description
Distilled at The GlenAllachie in Speyside, this single malt is crafted in a combination of Pedro Ximenez puncheons, oloroso puncheons, virgin oak casks, and Rioja casks, each one selected by Master Distiller, Billy Walker. Matured for 10 years before bottling, this expression from The GlenAllachie is presented at a natural cask strength of 57.2% abv.
The nose brings notes of heather honey, baking spices, milk chocolate, and espresso. The palate brings lashings of spicy ginger, honeycomb, and dark chocolate, before a sumptuous finish full of nutmeg and liquorice.
