Description
From renowned wine and spirit merchants Berry Bros. & Rudd, this small batch Blair Athol 2012 is one of only 777 bottles. The Highland expression was distilled at one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, Blair Athol. Matured for 10 years in refill hogshead casks, the flavours of the distillate shine through. Bottled at 46% abv.
On the nose we find notes of warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream, with peaches and ground almonds. The palate shows flavours of classic fruit and nut mix, with cinnamon and a touch of wood smoke on the close.
