Description
From the much-hyped family run distillery in the Kingdom of Fife, this Daftmill 2009 has been matured for 13 long years in a single Oloroso sherry butt (No.26). As a farm distillery, Daftmill place much importance on the barley used to make their liquid. For this bottling, Optic barley grown on their south fields was harvested in August 2006 and malted in Alloa in the summer of 2007. Presented at a robust cask strength of 60.2%, this UK exclusive was decanted into only 630 individually numbered bottles. Free from chill filtration, and at natural colour.
